Introduction - The benefits of Attending this Symposium

Introduction

  • Hear first-hand how some of Ireland’s leading business People are facing the future.
  • Reflect on the academic review of lessons learned and the factors which contribute to success.
  • Then….throw out the questions and thrash out the answers!

sym·po·sium - noun pl. symposiums -·si·ums or symposia -·sia

  • in ancient Greece, a drinking party at which there was intellectual conversation
  • any meeting or social gathering at which ideas are freely exchanged
  • a collection of opinions on a given subject

As a symposium, the day will be quite fluid, adapting to the needs of the group through an exciting and engaging format. You will have the opportunity to sit and listen to the experiences and ideas of some of Ireland’s leading Business People as well as the latest thinking from the world of academia. Then, armed with those stories and ideas, you will move through a series of fast-paced workshops which will really get to the heart of the issues and generate workable, realistic approaches that you can bring back to your Business.

However, there are also OMT Group Facilitators waiting in empty workshop rooms for those who want to explore a theme that emerges on the day. In this way, the symposium can react to real issues as they arise and ensure that everyone leaves satisfied.
